I first entered the community wearing only Kairi from Kingdom Hearts to a few local conventions, but have added closets full to my repertoire since then.

WHY I LOVE COSPLAYING

Freedom. This aspect always and still does push me to cosplay.

You can be whoever you want to be when cosplaying and this was very freeing for me early on when I did not feel liked I belonged in most circles.

Expressing myself through cosplay and having the freedom to create what I want has definitely helped me overcome a lot of life’s challenges.
