We’ve been following Magnificent Noone on Instagram for a little while now since we stumbled across her excellent Lara Croft cosplay. She’s an Austrian model and artist who is just finishing up her studies and fortunately for us, getting into cosplay. I’m Nicole, aka Magnificent Noone. I joined the world of cosplay only a few months ago.
Cosplay always fascinated me but I was too shy and insecure. Ever since I was a child I was bullied because of my appearance and beliefs so I tried to join the crowd and live my life “normally”, but I felt depressed and I was constantly searching my way to happiness.
I knew the only thing that makes my life better is art, so I really wanted to create something. After I touched the bottom a photographer friend of mine called me to do a photo shoot.
I didn’t really know what I should do since I never really had a shooting before, but the photos turned out amazing. I was so excited about the whole thing, that I wanted to do more and started to think about making costumes.
My dream was to bring one of my favorite characters – Lara Croft – to life, but not in an usual way. As I was playing Rise Of The Tomb Raider I discovered an armored outfit which I fell in love with so I watched some tutorials and jumped right into costume making.
