The Strong, Confident & Sexy Sayuri Nakano Cosplay

Alexandra Yavtushenko, aka Sayuri Nakano Cosplay is from Lviv, Ukraine and has been cosplaying since 2010 when a convention first came to her city. For now, she does cosplay just for fun while she figures out what she wants to be when she grows up! Cosplay makes her happy – and her cosplay makes us happy too!

Sayuri makes each cosplay from scratch and usually takes a month or two to complete.

“My favorite characters for many years remain: Shepard, Garrus and Thane (from Mass Effect) and Rogue/Gambit from X-Men.” – Sayuri

Most of Sayuri’s cosplays are of strong, confident sexy female characters. When she was younger and in school, she lacked confidence and had a poor self image. Cosplay has helped her come out of her shell and now she’s making up for lost time!

Harley Quinn is her favorite cosplay she has done. It was love at first sight when she saw Harley in the Arkham City game, “I have warm feelings when I cosplay her.” – Well, you rev up our Harley’s too Sayuri!

Commander John Shepard is a legendary N7 soldier in the Systems Alliance military, the first human Spectre, and the main protagonist of the Mass Effect trilogy. This gender bender cosplay is excellent!

Cosplay is an important part of Sayuri’s life now and has helped her make a lot of new friends. She really appreciates the time spent at cosplay events.
