Beauty and the Beast is on its way to becoming a big hit for Walt Disney. YouTubers Traci Hines and Nick Pitera released their own cover and music video in the ultimate Beauty and the Beast cosplay! Yes, we’ll claim this one in the Cosplay column!
Traci Hines is a singer, songwriter, actress, voice actress and model and native of Southern California. She’s probably most well known for her original music and covers online, likeness to Disney characters, most often Ariel, and her upbeat, bubbly personality. She credits YouTube for most of her success to and hopes to one day be “Part of Your World!” Music is Traci’s biggest passion, and her heart’s desire is to touch people through it.
Nick Pitera is a YouTuber who you may know for his famous Disney cover of “A Whole New World” where he sings both Aladdin and Jasmine’s parts and has garnered over 3 million views. In real life, Nick is an animator for Pixar Studios having worked on films like Up and Toy Story 3.
Traci has released music inspired by Mass Effect, Twilight, Angry Birds, Tiny Wings and Disney classics. Traci is also an active voice-over artist who recorded the single “My Secret Agent” for Phineas & Ferb’s Agent P on Tap Tap Revenge 4.
Accordingly, Disney Princesses are a very popular cosplay and sometimes controversial for their sex appeal.

As a Disney media franchise, with the success of the 1991 animated feature, Beauty and the Beast led to three follow-up films. In addition to a live-action spin-off TV series, a Disney World stage show, a Disney World restaurant, several video games and loads of merchandise. It is also the 9th longest-running musical in Broadway history, which was nominated for nine Tony Awards and won for Best Costume Design. In March of 2017, Disney released a live-action remake of the film. We sense a lot more cosplay to come.
